Bishop’s College School

Bishop’s College School creates a caring community of learning and development where cultures connect and individuals matter.

Established in 1836, Bishop’s College School (BCS) is an English all-gender boarding and day school for grades 7-12 offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and certificates. Located in Quebec, Canada, BCS’ 250-acre campus is bordered by farmland and rolling hills on one side and by the city of Sherbrooke on the other. An IB World School, our small, welcoming community is a second home to students from over 40 different countries.

Our core values (Lead, Grow, Engage, Experience, Explore) shape the students' personal and academic journeys. We learn together in a diverse and inclusive community, where each individual contributes to the BCS family. By embracing a rigorous yet supportive academic program and a well-rounded education that includes athletics, the arts, leadership and development, and global citizenship, BCS is preparing students for university and beyond. We offer a Bilingual Option (English and French), as well as the Duke of Edinburgh's Award program, and are a proud member of Round Square, through which students can go on exchanges and volunteer abroad. Throughout their time at BCS, students have countless opportunities to engage in hands-on learning experiences and blossom into the world’s next generation of leaders.

Our teachers don't just teach–they inspire. Our students don't just study—they challenge themselves, expanding their horizons and excelling in ways they never imagined before arriving here.
